Sea Dogs Collect 10-6 Win Over Angels
The Portland Sea Dogs overcame a pretty good performance by Los Angeles left fielder Kal Daniels, beating the Angels, 10-6, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim 1998. Daniels was 5 for 5 with 2 doubles and 3 singles. He scored 2 times. Portland is in 4th place in the American League Cumberland Posey Division with a record of 53-62.

Kent Hrbek was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Portland. The slugging first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Joe Nathan. It was his 71st RBI of the season.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Hrbek.
