The Wandering House of David had to overcome a fine effort from Indianapolis pitcher Johnny Cueto to win, 2-0, at Crosley Field. Cueto went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Picking up the save was 32-year old right-handed pitcher Bruce Sutter. Wandering, with the win, is 7-3.

Wandering took the lead, 2-0, on Richie Hebner's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Indianapolis pitcher Johnny Cueto in the top of the seventh.

"We leaned on our pitching tonight," Hebner said.
