Birmingham Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Black Barons catcher Jim Pagliaroni put his stamp on his team's 6-4 win over the Homestead Grays. Pagliaroni slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times for Birmingham in the contest. The last-place Black Barons lifted their record to 56-64.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Birmingham trailing 4-3, Pagliaroni jumped on a fastball from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Lindblom and hit a 3-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Black Barons had a walk-off win.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Pagliaroni, "and then get after it again."
