Angels Get Thrilling 5-4 Win
The Los Angeles Angels and Baltimore Black Sox played an entertaining game for Angel Stadium of Anaheim 1998 patrons.

The Los Angeles Angels beat the Baltimore Black Sox, 5-4, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim 1998. Kal Daniels, in particular, was impressive. He went 3-6 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Julio Teheran, the 8th overall pick in the 2001 draft, was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Buddy Groom.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the 11th. With Los Angeles trailing 4-3, Daniels jumped on a fastball from 37-year old left-handed pitcher Buddy Groom and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Angels had a walk-off win.

"This place was electric at the end," Daniels said.

With the win, the Angels have a record of 57-64.
