The home crowd had a good time watching the Baltimore Black Sox and New York Black Yankees get after it.

The 4-hit performance of Don Mattingly helped the New York Black Yankees beat the Baltimore Black Sox, 5-2. The win elevated the Black Yankees to 69-55.

Lou Gehrig, who is tied for 9th in the AL in hits with 121, helped out the New York cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a solo home run. For the game, the designated hitter belted 2 home runs.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Gehrig.
