The Homestead Grays picked up a win at Forbes Field, knocking off the Brooklyn Royal Giants, 7-6. Starting pitcher Francisco Liriano was a big reason why. At 59-69, the Grays are currently 4th in the AL Effa Manley Division.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Homestead trailing 6-5, Rick Reichardt jumped on a 2-1 fastball from Watty Clark for a 2-run home run, sending the Grays to a walk-off win.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Reichardt.
