Doyle Hits 2 home runs in Gothams Win
New York second baseman Larry Doyle had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Kansas City Monarchs, 8-4. New York is now 64-73, Kansas City 68-69.

With New York leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Doyle hit a fastball from Frank Castillo for a 2-run home run. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Gothams ahead, 3-0.

"Solid performance from our side," said Gothams manager Daniel Makonnen.
