ABCs Win Nail-Biter
|
Indianapolis right-hander Johnny Cueto helped his team edge Miami by the score of 2-1. Cueto kept the opposing lineup in check. Indianapolis is now 65-71, Miami 55-81.
The ABCs procured the win, in large part because of designated hitter Jake Stenzel. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Daniel Makonnen, the Indianapolis manager.
