The Homestead Grays put together a convincing win at Forbes Field, defeating the Wandering House of David, 16-2. Andrew McCutchen was one of the hitting stars. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Homestead. After today's action, Homestead sits at 69-70; Wandering slips to 66-72.

Early in the game, catcher Josh Gibson had a 2-run home run for Homestead. It was his 38th home run of the season and put the Grays on top, 2-0.
