Ottawa and Wandering duked it out and the Mounties came out victorious.

Good production from third baseman Álex Rodríguez helped the Ottawa Mounties topple the Wandering House of David, 4-1. Rodríguez went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs for the Mounties. Tom Henke earned his 18th save in 27 chances.

Terry Puhl had a direct impact on the outcome. Puhl contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Ottawa up, 3-1.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Puhl.

The 'W' lifts Ottawa's record to 65-75.
