Julio Teheran propelled his team to victory over the Baltimore Black Sox. The final score was 4-3, Los Angeles. Francisco Rodríguez snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-5 on the season. Gregg Olson suffered the loss. Los Angeles now sits at 69-82, while Baltimore falls to 70-81.

The decisive blow was delivered by Eddie Joost in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Gregg Olson to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.

"We take it day by day here," said Joost, "and today was a good one for us."
