The San Francisco Sea Lions topped the Detroit Wolverines by a score of 9-5. Leading the way was catcher Gene Oliver. Oliver belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Sea Lions. Detroit now owns a losing streak of 6 games.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Oliver hit a 2-run home run off Connie Johnson. It propelled the Sea Lions into the lead, 4-2.
