The Houston Colt 45s picked up a win at Minute Maid Park, taking down the Homestead Grays, 7-6. Starting pitcher Elton Chamberlain was a big reason why. Houston pitcher John Franco earned the win, hiking his record to 2-3. Robb Nen suffered the loss. Houston improves to 80-73 with the win. They lead their division by 4 games.

Houston got a knockout punch from Carlos Correa. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Chamberlain said, postgame.
