The Homestead Grays reigned over the New York Gothams in damp conditions.
Homestead pitcher Ray Brown did his part in helping his team beat the New York Gothams, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Brown picked up the win for Homestead, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1.
