Ruth Hits 2 home runs in Black Yankees Win
Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Babe Ruth, who led the AL in home runs with 48 in 2000, the New York Black Yankees defeated the Baltimore Black Sox, 6-2. Rhéal Cormier collected his 1st save. Baltimore is now 7-16.

Ruth had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-2 curveball from Sean Marshall, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Black Yankees a 5-2 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Ruth.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Ruth.
