Colt 45s Collect 13-12 Win Over House of David
The Houston Colt 45s topped the Wandering House of David, 13-12, in National League action at Minute Maid Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Houston center fielder Jim Wynn. The winner was Tug McGraw in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Ed Bauta took the loss. The 4th-place House of David have lost 4 consecutive games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With no one out, Wynn hit a splitter from Ed Bauta for a solo home run. The Colt 45s, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Wynn.
