Speaker Hits 2 home runs in Spiders Win
Spiders center fielder Tris Speaker left his imprint on his team's 17-11 win over the Memphis Red Sox. Speaker hit 2 home runs. He scored 5 runs and drove in 4 for Cleveland in the contest. Cleveland raised its record to 19-16 with the win.

Lance Berkman had a big 2-run double for the Spiders in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cleveland trailing 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Jon Lester, who leads the AL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to right. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Spiders ahead, 6-5.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Berkman.
