It was a big day for Chuck Knoblauch and he brought the Cleveland Spiders along for the ride.

Knoblauch led his club to victory, 12-4, over the Memphis Red Sox at League Park, smoking Memphis pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 27-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet."
