Colt 45s Walk It Off for 19th Win of Season
Houston left fielder Tony Gwynn helped his team beat the Ottawa Mounties, 10-8. Gwynn, who leads the NL in hits with 64, went 4 for 5 for the Colt 45s. Houston pitcher Tug McGraw got the win. He's now 2-2. Dave Gregg was tagged with the loss. The 4th-place Colt 45s go to 19-24.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jim O'Rourke in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 30-year old right-handed pitcher Clark Griffith to win the game for Houston. The home crowd went nuts.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Gwynn.
