With 8-5 Win, Gothams Improve to 22-21
The New York Gothams topped the Homestead Grays by a score of 8-5. Leading the way was third baseman Michael Higgins. Higgins was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Gothams. Brian Wilson picked up the save, his 3rd. The victory gives New York a record of 22-21.

With New York leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Higgins hit a sinker from Francisco Liriano for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Gothams ahead, 4-0.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Higgins.
