Bagwell Hits 2 home runs in Colt 45s Win
A 5-RBI performance from Jeff Bagwell, who is tied for 10th in the NL in runs scored with 28, helped the Houston Colt 45s beat the Ottawa Mounties, 14-5. Houston has won 3 straight, while Ottawa has lost 3 in a row.

Grant Johnson had a big 2-run home run for the Colt 45s in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Houston leading 6-5 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a changeup from Charles Radbourn, who is tied for 3rd in the NL in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Colt 45s on top, 8-5.

"We took home the win," said Johnson. "What's not to like?"
