ABCs Beaten By House of David, 4-1
|
Wandering starter Bob Rush kept the Indianapolis offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the House of David to a 4-1 win. The Wandering win streak is now 3 games.
The House of David got a big at-bat from first baseman Anthony Rizzo. For the game, Rizzo went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 28th home run of the season gave Wandering a 2-0 lead.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Rizzo. "More importantly, I had a good game."
