The Brooklyn Royal Giants locked up a win at Polo Grounds, knocking off the New York Gothams, 6-4. On the mound for Brooklyn was right-hander Don Drysdale. He played a major role in the triumph. Eric Gagne notched his 37th save in 44 chances. The first-place Royal Giants have won 4 in a row.
