The Philadelphia Stars topped the Indianapolis ABCs by a score of 12-8. Leading the way was third baseman Jung Ho Kang. Kang went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Stars. The win puts Philadelphia at 84-75 this season.

First Baseman Harmon Killebrew made an impact for Philadelphia, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Rube Foster in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Killebrew was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
