Cuban Giants Win at Home, 5-4
The 5-4 Miami win over Cleveland was due largely to Gary Sheffield. The Cuban Giants third baseman hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Picking up the save was Adonis Terry. He's now 2 for 6 in save chances. Miami bumps their record to 79-81 with the win.

Sheffield contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Miami get the win.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Sheffield, "and then get after it again."
