Behind a solid performance from center fielder Gorman Thomas, the Houston Colt 45s defeated the Wandering House of David, 7-2. Thomas was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Colt 45s. Vida Blue earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 2-0.
