With 3-1 Win, Dodgers Improve to 36-17
|
The Nashua Dodgers got a magnificent performance from pitcher George D Susce, who stifled the Greensboro offense en route to a 3-1 Dodgers win at Holman Stadium. Carl Bouldin finished to wrap up his 5th save. Nashua now has a record of 36-17 with the win.
The Dodgers got a big at-bat from first baseman Ken McMullen. For the game, McMullen went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Nashua a 3-0 lead.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Nashua manager Aaron Miller.
