Buffaloes Trip Marcos, 3-2
|
Dayton got a big-time effort from pitcher Chris Bosio, but it wasn't enough to keep the Omaha Buffaloes from winning the game, 3-2. Bosio threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Omaha has now won 3 in a row.
Danny Litwhiler had a timely hit in the bottom of the sixth inning. With one out and a runner on 2nd, the Omaha left fielder hit a run-scoring single. That put the Buffaloes in front, 3-2.
"Both teams played hard," said Omaha manager Ramiro Ramirez.
