Victory Takes Grasshoppers to 40-35
|
The Greensboro Grasshoppers downed the Omaha Buffaloes, 10-4. The hitting star was third baseman Paul Schaal. Schaal went 3-3 with 3 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 2 for the Grasshoppers. Greensboro now has a record of 40-35 with the win.
Jackie Bradley did the little things right to help the team against the Buffaloes. In the top of the first inning, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run, putting Greensboro in front, 1-0.
Schaal told a Greensboro Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
