Cox Dominant in Nashua Win
|
The Nashua Dodgers got a strong performance from pitcher Danny Cox, who stymied the Greensboro offense en route to a win, 2-0, at World War Memorial Stadium. Carl Bouldin recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 12 for 13. The win boosted Nashua to 55-30.
Cox made it look easy. He scattered 6 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 12 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 10-3.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Cox told reporters after the game.
