Dodgers Jolt Grasshoppers, 5-4, with Late Rally
|
The Nashua Dodgers took Greensboro pitcher Marc Hall's best shot and still were able to claim a win at World War Memorial Stadium. The final score had Nashua getting past the Grasshoppers, 5-4. Hall went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 8. With the win, Nashua pushed its record to 56-31.
Jim Lefebvre, the 27-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Lefebvre contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Nashua up, 5-4.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Lefebvre, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
