The Harrisburg Ponies and Canton Terriers had fans on the edges of their seats.

The Harrisburg Ponies did just enough to secure a victory over the Canton Terriers, 5-4, at Union Grounds (Brooklyn). Nobody did more than pitcher Johnny Miljus. Harrisburg reliever Luke Hochevar picked up the win to move to 6-3. Dutch Ruether suffered the loss.

Eric MacKenzie was the walk-off hero for Harrisburg. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ponies catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Miljus.

Harrisburg has now won 7 in a row.
