10-1 Loss Extends Flint Losing Streak
|
Omaha Buffaloes starter Jim Nash turned in an exceptional performance against the Flint Gems at Atwood Stadium, resulting in a Omaha win, 10-1. Flint now has a 7-game losing streak.
Landon Powell, the 27-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Powell contributed a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Omaha up, 5-1.
Said losing manager Jonathan Goodman: "Give the Buffaloes credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
