The Greensboro Grasshoppers got a stellar effort from pitcher Aaron Sanchez, helping Greensboro score a win over the visiting Dayton Marcos, 7-2. Warren Hacker earned his 4th save in 4 tries. Dayton is in the throes of a 11-game skid.

Phil Nevin had a big run-scoring double for the Grasshoppers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Greensboro leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Johnny Gray and swatted a double to center. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Grasshoppers ahead, 4-2.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Danny Romanowski. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
