Cuban Giants Earn 4-3 Win Versus Sea Lions
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Miami Cuban Giants and San Francisco Sea Lions.

The San Francisco Sea Lions got a superb performance from pitcher Watty Clark, but the Miami Cuban Giants still won the game, 4-3. Clark threw 7.1 innings allowing 4 runs. The win belonged to Bob Gillespie in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Watty Clark took the loss for San Francisco.

Ryan Braun, who is tied for 9th in the AL in extra base hits with 32, had a direct impact on the outcome. Braun contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Miami up, 4-3.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Braun. "And not try to do too much."

With the win, Miami upped its record to 30-27.
