Foxx, Sea Lions Sink Spiders Again in Game 3
Riding the 3-hit performance of third baseman Jimmie Foxx, the San Francisco Sea Lions got a road win against the Cleveland Spiders, 6-3, in Game 3 of the Divisional Playoffs. Foxx went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Sea Lions, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Foxx delivered big-time for San Francisco, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Terry Adams. The game-changing hit put the Sea Lions on top, 6-3.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Foxx.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at League Park in Cleveland.
