Handed an opportunity to take a commanding lead in the Divisional Playoffs, the Houston Colt 45s could not close the deal.

Game 4 went into extra frames and the Brooklyn Royal Giants emerged victorious, taking a 10-inning, 5-4 win. Brooklyn pitcher Fernando Valenzuela threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball in the win at Minute Maid Park to drag the Royal Giants back to parity. The clubs are now tied 2-2 in the best-of-7 series.

Beals Becker came through with a big-time hit for Brooklyn. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 5-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

In postgame comments, Becker said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
