Steen Now 4-5 Following 4-0 Win
|
The Cleveland Spiders locked up a win at League Park, knocking off the Miami Cuban Giants, 4-0. On the mound for Cleveland was right-hander Bill Steen. He played a major role in the triumph. Terry Adams notched his 11th save in 11 chances. Cleveland has now won 3 in a row.
The Cuban Giants had trouble solving Steen, who surrendered no runs on 1 hit over 8.1 innings.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Steen, "and then get after it again."
