Mounties Suffer One-Run Loss at Wandering

Ottawa shortstop Álex Rodríguez was sensational. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Wandering beat the Mounties, 7-6. Bruce Sutter was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 11 save opportunities. The Wandering winning streak has reached 3 games.
Joe Harris, who is tied for 8th in the NL in triples with 3, helped out the Wandering cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said House of David manager Daniel Makonnen. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
