The home crowd had a good time watching the Baltimore Black Sox and Chicago American Giants get after it.

Baltimore right fielder Gavvy Cravath was sensational. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Chicago beat the Black Sox, 6-4. A. J. Minter was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 12 of 14 save opportunities.

The American Giants got a big at-bat from catcher Carlton Fisk. For the game, Fisk went 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Chicago a 6-4 lead.

Chicago manager Daniel Makonnen said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

With the win, Chicago goes to 38-40, while the Black Sox fall to 34-45.
