|
The Portland Sea Dogs dealt the Cleveland Spiders a 6-2 loss at League Park. Jeff Burroughs was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Walter Ball got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 1. Cleveland falls to 4-4.
