The Philadelphia Stars locked up a win at Shibe Park AL, knocking off the Indianapolis ABCs, 5-4. On the mound for Philadelphia was left-hander Ray Collins. He played a major role in the triumph. Collins picked up the win for Philadelphia, going 6 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 2-4. Bob Howry was credited with the save.
