New York Gets 6-3 Win Against Cuban Giants
|
The New York Gothams topped the Miami Cuban Giants by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Jimmy Sheckard. Sheckard went 1 for 2 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Gothams on the day. Pete Donohue was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Brian Wilson notched his 16th save in 17 chances.
