Muehlebach Field 1923-1941 was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Ottawa Mounties and Kansas City Monarchs.

The Ottawa Mounties picked up a win at Muehlebach Field 1923-1941, knocking off the Kansas City Monarchs, 3-2. On the mound for Ottawa was right-hander Roy Halladay. He played a key role in the triumph. Halladay yielded no runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 4, and struck out 2. His record improves to 10-6.

Ottawa won the game in part because of Álex Rodríguez. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mounties ahead, 3-0. For the game, Rodríguez had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Rodríguez. "And not try to do too much."
