Anderson Raps Lynchburg for 5 Hits
Galveston first baseman Harry Anderson had a big day at Gulfview Park today against the Lynchburg Hillcats. The 27-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Black Pirates to a 14-4 triumph over Lynchburg.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Anderson said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Harry Anderson hit a solo-shot off Glendon Rusch in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Bob Geary in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Bob Geary in the 7th.

To date this year Anderson is batting .376 with 21 home runs.
