Ottawa's Brad Ausmus Calling it Quits Friday, June 8th , 2001 Brad Ausmus said he's proud of what he's accomplished in professional baseball and he's now comfortable walking away from the sport. The Ottawa Mounties catcher announced today that this season will be his last. "It's Freedom 36," he joked with reporters. "I'm happy to get out now and am looking forward to enjoying retirement." |
