Foster Acclaimed Top Pitcher in June Sunday, July 1st , 2001 The National League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award for June. It went to A. Rube Foster of Kansas City for his outstanding 3-1 record and 1.65 ERA. Foster also chalked up 6 starts, 43.2 innings and 23 strikeouts. So far this season, Foster has compiled a 5-1 record with a 2.30 ERA. |
