Rogan Fashions Shutout Against New York

Charles Rogan had an impressive outing at Shibe Park AL, hurling the Philadelphia Stars to a 3-0 shutout victory over the New York Gothams.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," New York skipper Daniel Makonnen said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the right-handed Rogan yielded 1 hit and tallied 8 strikeouts with 1 walk.
Rogan has a 5-8 season record so far. In 17 starts, he has fanned 93 batters in 107 innings with a 4.46 ERA.
