House of David-Stars Trade: Kang for Jackson Tuesday, July 10th , 2001 The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The Wandering House of David have sent 23-year old minor league SS Luis Aparicio, 29-year old 1B Jung Ho Kang, and a 7th round draft pick to the Philadelphia Stars for 32-year old RHP Larry Jackson. This year, Jackson has registered no saves in 12 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 1-3 won-lost mark with a 5.35 ERA. In 74 innings he has fanned 53. |
