Hadley Blanks Chicago, 8-0 Sunday, July 15th , 2001 The Chicago American Giants met their match today in San Francisco hurler Bump Hadley. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Chicago skipper Daniel Makonnen said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 8-0 victory, Hadley whiffed 10 and gave up no walks.
